The reputation and expertise of our people are the critical strengths we put to work for you. At Counsel, there is no “bait and switch”; our Principals are intimately involved in all the aspects of client work.
Taylor Scollon is well-versed in the rapidly-evolving world of digital media. Beyond staying up-to-date on the cutting edge of digital communications and social media, Taylor has put his knowledge to work on a number of high-profile campaigns and projects for advocacy groups, not-for-profits, causes, and brands. Whether it's producing targeted e-mail campaigns, creative web videos, or generating buzz on social media, Taylor has a unique understanding of how to put digital tools to work for clients.
Taylor worked in Virginia during the 2012 election cycle where he supported the Democratic Party's digital media and communications team, creating websites and implementing social media strategies to elect Democrats state-wide and help President Obama win a critical battleground state.
Taylor also worked as Digital Director (Front-end) for Kathleen Wynne’s successful Ontario Liberal Leadership campaign, designing and developing the public-facing elements and strategies behind the now-Premier’s online efforts. His work for the Wynne campaign was recognized with a Reed Award from Campaigns and Elections for Best Non U.S. website. Taylor remains involved with Ontario Liberal politics, providing strategic advice and support on digital communications projects for the Party and local candidates.
Prior to joining Counsel, Taylor served as a communications staffer and speechwriter on a major Toronto mayoral campaign in 2010 and as a Special Assistant to an Ontario Cabinet Minister. He is a regular commentator on Canadian political issues on CTV.
